Agnes Rominski was born on August 14, 1924, near Argyle, MN. Her parents were John and Mary Rapacz. She has one brother, Raymond and two sisters, Irene and Marie.
On June 7, 1948, Agnes and Louis Rominski were united in marriage at St John’s Catholic Church in rural Argyle. They raised nine children; Marie, Daniel, Janet, Vernon, Jerome, Marlene, Jean, Betty and John. They have 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Agnes was a cook at Good Samaritan Home in Warren and helped Louie on the farm. She enjoyed many activities such as gardening, canning, baking sewing, embroidery, square dancing, playing cards and bingo. She also raised chickens.
Traveling was a favorite of Agnes and visited most of the 50 states.
Agnes was a member of St John’s Catholic Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Catholic Daughters.
Agnes came to Fair Meadow Nursing Home on September 19, 2014.
